1. Welcome to goto.ng!

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the goto.ng website, products, and services ("Service") provided by Haqqman Technology Limited ("Haqqman," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

goto.ng is a link management platform that allows users to shorten, brand, manage, and track URLs. The Service includes the ability to create short links, use custom domains, manage links in team profiles, and view analytics related to link performance.

3. User Accounts

To use most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is found to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any other credentials used to access your account. You agree that you will not disclose your password to any third party and that you will take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the goto.ng Service. As a condition of your use of the Service, you agree not to create, use, or share links that:

  • Are unlawful, fraudulent, or for any illegal purpose.
  • Promote or contain malware, viruses, phishing schemes, or other malicious software.
  • Constitute spam, including unsolicited advertising or bulk messaging.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
  • Contain defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, or hateful content.
  • Promote discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
  • Are used to impersonate any person or entity or to falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to investigate any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy or misuse of the Service. We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account and remove any links that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Payments, Credits, and Refunds

The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go credit system. Creating links and setting up custom domains requires a sufficient credit balance in your profile. All payments for credits and features are processed through our third-party payment processor, Paystack.

You agree to pay all applicable fees for the services you purchase. All fees are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or US Dollars (USD), as selected in your profile.

All purchases of credits and fees for features (like custom domains) are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used services or unused credit balances.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of Haqqman Technology Limited and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Nigeria and foreign countries.

You retain all rights to the content you create and share through the Service (e.g., your original long URLs). By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display this content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Haqqman Technology Limited disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Service and your use thereof, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the Service's content or the content of any sites linked to the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event will Haqqman Technology Limited, its directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Haqqman Technology Limited and our affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service or your violation of any term of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
