  • Profile & Link Information: When you create links, you provide us with the original long URL. You may also voluntarily provide additional information, such as a title or metadata for the link.
  • Payment Information: When you purchase credits or additional services (like a custom domain), our payment processor, Paystack, will collect your payment information. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

2.2. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Link-Click Data: When someone clicks on a goto.ng link, we automatically collect information about the interaction. This includes the IP address, the user agent of the device, the referring website or source, and the date and time of the click. (Note: Currently, detailed analytics like location are mocked, but this describes our intended future functionality).
  • Usage Information: We log technical data about your interactions with our services, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the pages you visit on our site.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies to operate and administer our site, gather usage data, and improve your experience. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.
